Tax time

Runners - the National Marathon is coming up

Being that I am an avid runner, competing for the past five years, I was interested in participating in the Wirefly National Marathon and I thought you guys might be interested in hearing about it as well. You might be wondering how fast it fills up, so you know how much time you have left. Well the 2007 field cap is 5000 entrants and being that it's only the second year event it is hard to judge the pace, it's better to just sign up quickly to guarantee your spot. To qualify for the marathon, you could use an alternative race but it must be 10k or longer. Some of you may be wondered about if you can or cannot switch between the half marathon and the full marathon. The answer to this is yes. The staff can switch the contestants until midnight on March 18, 2007. The only charge will be the difference in the entry fee, which is twenty dollars, plus a small processing fee. THere is no "difference of fee" refund for the entrants switching down from the full marathon down to the half marathon. You are free to pick up your packet at the DC Armory which will serve as the race expo and the packet pick up on Friday, March 23rd from 11AM until 9PM. The DC Armory address is 2001 East Capitol Street. SE Washington, DC 20003. If you will be unable to pick up your number, it is possible for someone else to pick up your number. For security reasons, though, the proxy must bring a photo copy of the registrant's driver license or some other type of valid photo identification to the packet pick up location that was listed before. The proxy will also be asked to sign the photo copy. If you are wondering about rewards, there will be a finisher model for both the full marathon and the half marathon finishers.

My business class at school is going well. I did great on my first test.There were alot of questions on finance and I did well. My dad was able to help me as that is his forte. Hey Guys, so the other day we got tons of snow, and in the back of my mind, I decided that I wanted to take up snowboarding. I decided to Learn to Snowboard from this awesome website that I found. When I read that 10 and 12 year old children are pulling 720's that impress anyone, I began to believe that I could also learn to ride like the pros quite easily, once I got the basics down. What gave me a lot of inspiration was something that was a quote by a man on the website saying, "It was the middle of the season and I wasn't sure I was quite ready to learn 360's yet, I told Matt my goal was to land one by the end of the season. Valentines Day.

The snow has been coming down for hours now. We have 2 feet of snow. This is ridiculous. The only thing I didn’t realize was that my boyfriend wouldn’t be able to come home if there was tons of snow. That kind of stinks. Oh well.

So I really think that bookstore thing might happen one day. My dreams are slowly coming true. The weather is finally calling for snow. They’re calling it the “Valentines Storm” because we’re supposed to get it on Valentines Day. I think it’s going to be really big. I can’t wait.

BOOKSTORE!

So my father and I were talking about a possible business that I might be having when I get out of college. This is so cool. I think I might even be able to get a loan after college and get a permit to build a little bookstore. I’ve always wanted to do that.

Stocks!

There are basically only 3 months until I graduate. AWESOME. So the stocks are still going up up up! YAY! This is awesome. I hope everything continues as well for me as it has been.
