The Ultimate Gift

I was on the internet this morning and I came across a site that I think will be of interset to you.
This is the official site of the movie "The Ultimate Gift" and the grass-roots movement its starting to help charities and give to others. is about a movie set to be released in movies on March 9th and staring such actors as Academy Award nominee Abigail Breslin, of Little Miss Sunshine, James Garner, Ali Hillis, Drew Fuller and Brian Dennehy.
Here is some background on the whole movie and what it stands for, it is based on the book of the same name, The Ultimate Gift, that has been an underground hit around the world and sold 4 million copies thus far. “The Ultimate Gift” movie, like the book, is based on the following message: "The only way you can truly get more out of life for yourself is to give part of yourself away.”How true this is, and so many of us seem to forget this. This book and now the movie is reminding us all the importance of giving through charities. More than 300 pre-screenings across the United States has already resulted in over $5 million in donations to various charities. The schools in parts of the U.S.are passing on the message into their curriculums. And “The Ultimate Gift” has brought on a very special teen philanthropy initiative called “Show Of Hands” Here is their website:(www.raiseahand.org). A sweet, values-oriented movie such as The Ultimate Gift obviously can’t have the multi-million dollar budgets of so many movies we see in the theatres today, but on its release date, it will be in some 800 theatres.
I think it is so important for us to all support the charities of our choice through the unique “Weekend Of Giving” promotion for “The Ultimate Gift”. Details at www.TheUltimateGift.com This is such a wonderful cause and we all should have a special charity that we hold dear. I know that I do. Remember March 9th. Get to a theatre and see the move. You will be so happy that you did.
